playful. familiar. statement.
I think many times artists and art lovers alike can get really caught up in trying too hard. Trying too hard to express a scene or landscape or to convey emotional imagery through detailed and intricate work.
But simple shapes and basic colors can really speak volumes. Shapes are familiar, friendly and conducive to most any setting. These pieces were pretty easy to produce as I had no plan or sketch, just a pallet full of mixed colors and shapes on the brain.
