Bringing a simple reminder a place you love, a place you've traveled, or the place you consider home can add a really cool personal flair to your space. It also serves as a conversation piece for guests and is sure to offer smile every time you walk by.
Collin and I both love Nashville and have lived here for years, but we are two southern folks who love where we come from, love our roots and the place we consider "home". So to honor that place and to bring a touch of the deep deep South to Nashvegas, I got this idea from another blog and created these collages to go in one of our guest bedrooms.
Without telling Collin what I was doing, I just asked him to tell me some landmarks that make him think of "home" and used his list...then I did the same with my hometown.
You can certainly use major cities and landmarks that will be familiar to everyone or take a more personal approach, which is what I decided to do.
